About Patrice

 Hi, I'm Patrice. My breast cancer journey began in 2013 with an earlier stage breast cancer, but in 2022 I learned that my breast cancer progressed to metastatic stage IV and was given a possible 2 years of life if treatment was effective. This news came to me the day after I buried my best friend of 45 years to metastatic breast cancer.  I have been self-employed since 1992 and lived a fun and joyful life working and helping others. As you can imagine, due to my diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hormone therapy my work life balance became unbalanced resulting in losing my business and the life I worked hard to build. I was recently been denied for  Ibrance, one of the only cancer pills that have helped to prolong my life. I am appealing with Fanny my patient navigator. Fanny my navigator has help me to apply to many financial assistance programs and received some help, but many non-profits are currently out of funding, which is why I am again seeking any financial support you are willing and able to provide.
